She is Lambeth’s VAWG Champion, supporting women and families affected by domestic violence, and a committed community activist working with a wide range of local groups. Christine trained as an NHS Community Connector and has collaborated with The Community Shop on Vale Street, Toynbee Hall, teaching financial literacy, and worked with local churches. She has supported Thriving Norwood and Imperial College air quality monitoring projects, and initiatives raising awareness of sickle cell support across the NHS and Lambeth Housing. Christine is also a safeguarding school governor and a published poet.

Rob Shorrock

Rob has been working as a lawyer in London for many years. He has also worked as a caseworker for a Labour MP where he supported people with immigration claims, housing issues, and concerns about crime. As a renter in London for almost nine years, he knows the unfairness of the system, and the need for renters’ rights and new sustainable homes. He is passionate about fighting to make streets safer for everyone and has volunteered for a charity supporting those experiencing loneliness and vulnerability.
