I learnt to swim at Brixton Rec, studied at Brixton College and I run around Brockwell Park. I volunteered at the Foodbank on Moorlands Estate and I litter pick at Loughborough Park. I work, study, shop and go out in Brixton. I use Brixton Library and shop in Brixton Market. I work as a counsellor with the most vulnerable as well as a councillor for those who need a voice to speak up for them. I’m a trade unionist and an activist. I love this ward, I respect its history and I will continue to work to see it – and all the people who live here – thrive.
