Mahamed has been a youth and community worker for over 26 years, supporting the most marginalised young people in London. This support has come in the form of gang intervention and diversion workshops, employment support and general on street engagement.

Claire is a Labour candidate for Oval and has lived in the area for over 30 years, raising her family locally. As a councillor and the leader of Lambeth Labour, Claire has worked hard to support residents, listen to concerns and protect vital local services, particularly during years of government cuts.

Alison has lived in Clapham Common & Abbeville for over 30 years, raising her two sons in the area she proudly calls home. She is deeply embedded in the local community, serving on committees and as a trustee for a number of Clapham charities.

Cllr Ben Kind

Ben was born in Streatham and now lives in Brixton Rush Common Ward with his family. As Lambeth’s Cabinet Member for Children, Young People and Families, he leads Labour’s work to make Lambeth the best place for young people to grow up – expanding breakfast clubs, strengthening children’s services and increasing investment in SEND places in Lambeth schools by £10 million.
Dominic Lynch

Dominic has worked hard on successful campaigns to keep community assets like the Post Office in Kennington and regularly raises local issues such as graffiti and fly-tipping.

Marianna Masters is a Labour and Co-operative candidate for Herne Hill & Loughborough Junction and was born and raised in Lambeth. She serves as an elected member of the Labour Party’s National Women’s Committee, championing the representation of Black women in politics.

Verity works in the charity sector campaigning for human rights and humanitarian relief around the world. She speaks French and is learning Spanish to be able to better support our growing Spanish-speaking Latin American community in Clapham Park.
Sean McKee

Living locally for 25 years on Weir, Emmanuel and Thornton Roads, Sean and his family happily call this area home. With his children having attended local schools and still engaging in neighbourhood activities, he is familiar with issues of concern or interest to parents and families locally.
