James Seabridge

I’m standing to be your local councillor because I’m proud to call Brixton my home and I’m deeply invested in helping it reach its huge potential. I moved here for work during the pandemic, and I now manage a climate policy advocacy organisation, where I push for a fair transition to net zero. I’m from a very deprived part of the country and grew up in poverty and insecure housing – experiencing this means I’m deeply committed to tackling poverty and the housing crisis. If elected, I would stand up for our local communities and advocate for a fairer, more equal society.
