She also works as a senior NHS manager and serves as a school governor and charity trustee, supporting opportunities for young people and stronger communities. As a local resident and mother, Nanda is passionate about strengthening services, supporting community organisations and ensuring residents’ voices are heard. She is committed to helping build a neighbourhood where everyone can thrive.

James is standing to be a local councillor and is proud to call Brixton his home, where he is deeply invested in helping the area reach its potential. He moved to Brixton for work during the pandemic and now manages a climate policy advocacy organisation, working to deliver a fair transition to net zero. James grew up in a deprived part of the country, experiencing poverty and insecure housing, which drives his commitment to tackling inequality and the housing crisis. He is committed to standing up for local communities and advocating for a fairer, more equal society.
