Cllr John-Paul Ennis

John-Paul is a Labour candidate and local councillor who has stood up for residents, supported community-led housing, and expanded opportunities for young people. In 2024, he became the youngest ever Mayor of Lambeth, using the role to engage schools, youth groups and community organisations. He was also recently named Young Councillor of the Year at the National LGIU Awards. A passionate community campaigner and local resident, John-Paul is committed to continuing to deliver for neighbours and building a fairer, more inclusive community.

Cllr Nanda Manley-Browne

Nanda is a Labour candidate, local councillor and Cabinet Member with a strong commitment to public service. She also works as a senior NHS manager and serves as a school governor and charity trustee, supporting opportunities for young people and stronger communities. As a local resident and mother, Nanda is passionate about strengthening services, supporting community organisations and ensuring residents’ voices are heard. She is committed to helping build a neighbourhood where everyone can thrive.

James Seabridge

James is standing to be a local councillor and is proud to call Brixton his home, where he is deeply invested in helping the area reach its potential. He moved to Brixton for work during the pandemic and now manages a climate policy advocacy organisation, working to deliver a fair transition to net zero. James grew up in a deprived part of the country, experiencing poverty and insecure housing, which drives his commitment to tackling inequality and the housing crisis. He is committed to standing up for local communities and advocating for a fairer, more equal society.
