Chris is a long-time Labour activist and actively contributes to his community as Treasurer of a TRA and school governor. He started his career in accounting, working with clients including SMEs and the NHS. Chris now works for a public transport company committed to having a “zeroemission fleet by 2035”. Like many in Clapham East, migration and cultural diversity form a part of his personal journey. His grandparents moved from China to Indonesia many years ago, arriving with very little. He moved from Indonesia to Singapore before settling in London in 2011. Chris would like to serve the residents of Clapham East and give back to the community that has supported him.
