Joe was born and raised in South London and has always considered this part of the city his home. He wants Lambeth to be a place where everyone feels at home, and is standing to be a councillor to help make that happen. Joe is active in Streatham and encourages residents to speak with him about local issues. Outside of politics, he runs a small property development company and volunteers at a homeless shelter, and hopes to use his experience to help tackle the housing crisis.

Jade grew up in Brussels and moved to London to work in film, before going on to work in various political roles within the Labour Party. She is passionate about the safety of women and the LGBT+ community, and is committed to making Streatham the best place for everyone to live, grow up, and raise a family.

Edwin Sheppard is standing as a Labour candidate for Streatham St Leonard’s. He grew up on a small hay farm in Wiltshire and came to London to be part of the life of the city. Edwin has spent most of his adult life working with numbers as a data analyst and is now using his skills to support the green transition. He is an enthusiastic and outgoing person, always happy to hear about local concerns, and is passionate about supporting residents and helping to resolve the issues they face.
