YOUR TEAM FOR Stockwell West & Larkhall

Nadia Burrell

Nadia has lived in Stockwell since 2019. She’s a British-Moroccan who’s proud to call such a diverse and vibrant borough as Lambeth home. Nadia works in campaign organising with a background in community work. She’s set up free breakfast clubs for local residents and helped refugee children in Vauxhall get into school. Her top priority is to make the Council work better for residents, listening well and responding to their concerns.

Joe Dharampal-Hornby

Joe’s been proud to serve as one of your Stockwell West and Larkhall ward councillors for the last four years, supporting residents with housing repairs, council tax enquiries, parking issues and more. At the borough-level, as Chair of the Housing Scrutiny Committee, he has held the council to account on its housing services, seeking to improve repairs, communication and leasehold transparency for residents across Lambeth. Joe hopes to continue to serve our community to drive forward improvements for residents and deliver a greener, fairer and safer Lambeth for all.

David Oxley

Twelve years ago, David moved to Stockwell. Today, he and his wife are proud to call this community home, now raising their three-year-old son here. After years of local service, from volunteering with the Covid vaccination programme to litter picking in Larkhall Park, David was elected as one of your Labour Councillors four years ago. Since then, he has worked tirelessly for residents, also serving as Chair of the Larkhall Partnership Board and Chair of Lambeth’s Children’s Services Scrutiny Committee. David is now standing for re-election to continue delivering for the community he loves and he is asking for your support. David said: “I want my son to grow up in a community that is as vibrant and supportive as the one that welcomed us 12 years ago”.
