Cllr Linda Bray

Linda Bray is a Labour candidate for Clapham Town and has served as a local councillor for 12 years, living in the area since 1976 and raising her family there. She has supported community groups through her work with Friends of Clapham Common and as a Trustee of Omnibus Theatre

Cllr Verity McGivern

Verity works in the charity sector campaigning for human rights and humanitarian relief around the world. She speaks French and is learning Spanish to be able to better support our growing Spanish-speaking Latin American community in Clapham Park.

Cllr Martin Tiedemann

Martin is a leaseholder living on New Park Road and grew up in South London. He is from a Latin American family and is a fluent Spanish speaker. Martin is a trustee of a local migrants’ advocacy and support charity, and he is passionate about nature and ensuring everyone has access to green space.

Cllr John-Paul Ennis

In 2024, John-Paul became the youngest ever Mayor of Lambeth, using the role to engage schools, youth groups and community organisations. He was also recently named Young Councillor of the Year at the National LGIU Awards.

Cllr David Bridson

David Bridson lives in the ward and has called Brixton home for over 10 years. He proudly serves as a councillor for Brixton Acre Lane. David is Lambeth’s Cabinet Member for Healthier Communities, leading work to tackle health inequalities, strengthen adult social care and support sanctuary seekers rebuilding their lives in our borough.

Cllr Nanda Manley-Browne

Nanda is a Labour candidate, local councillor and Cabinet Member with a strong commitment to public service. She also works as a senior NHS manager and serves as a school governor and charity trustee, supporting opportunities for young people and stronger communities.
