TfL is proposing a new express bus route between Clapham Junction and Eltham in south London.
The proposed route follows the South Circular and will include stops connecting Clapham South, Clapham Park, Brixton Hill, Tulse Hill Station, and West Dulwich.
We back this route and want to add a stop on Christchurch Road to connect the Superloop with more communities from Brixton and Streatham. This will make the existing route more accessible, eliminate long walks and dangerous crossings of the A23/A205, and encourage more people to use the service.
We know better transport links are important to residents, especially east-west routes, and those connecting with train and tube stations.
Lambeth Labour have been working for years to secure more buses for our area, so we’re extremely pleased the Mayor of London has listened to our calls.
