E-bikes are transforming travel in Lambeth, with over six million rides this year alone, up 80% from 2024. It is clear that Lambeth is at the heart of sustainable travel. 

But as their use grows, so does the need for more parking, fairer pricing, and safer streets for everyone. 

So we would like to ask you to have your say in our approach to improving them in Lambeth. 

We are in favour of e-bikes operating in our borough, but the companies must ensure they are being used safely and appropriately, not blocking businesses, roads and driveways. 

We have worked hard to increase the number of parking bays across the borough, but we want e-bike companies to fund and enforce their proper use. 

Lambeth Labour has a strong idea of the benefits and concerns associated with e-bikes, but we are keen to hear fresh views. Your feedback is crucial in helping us shape a balanced and effective approach.
