Paul Gadsby was elected on Thursday 28th November with a of in Lambeth’s Vassall ward.


Paul (pictured here on the night with Lambeth Council Leader Lib Peck) swept to victory gaining 60% of the vote in the contest.

The final results are:


  • Kelly Ben-Maimon, Conservative Party 153 votes
  • Paul Gadsby, Labour Party 1319 votes
  • Elizabeth Jones, UK Independence Party 87 votes
  • Danny Lambert, Socialist Party 22 votes
  • Rachel Laurence, Green Party 113 votes
  • Steven Nally, Trade Unionists and Socialists Against Cuts 44 votes
  • Colette Thomas, Liberal Democrats 468 votes

Total votes cast 2206
