Tax Credits Cuts Petition

yes_to_tax_credits.jpgTax Credits are designed to ensure that work pays. Cutting them undermines the value of work and means penalising those who work hard day-after-day, just to get by.

Here in Lambeth, 15,000 working families could lose on average £1,300 a year when George Osborne brings in his tax credit changes next April.

David Cameron has said he is "delighted" that these changes were being pushed through - this tells you everything you need to know about the priorities of the Tory Party.

The Tories are determined to push through their plans to cut tax credits for working families. Let them know what you think by signing our petition against these cuts.

I strongly oppose tax credit cuts as working, employed or self employed, low paid families -single parent, 2 parents need them to survive as cost of living is so much. I

Yet another measure that hits hardest at the least well off.
