Celebrating Interfaith week in Lambeth

The Show of Unity event in July was a brilliant illustration of the fact that Lambeth has an incredibly supportive, kind and generous community. And the Tree of Hope at Lambeth Country Show struck a responsive chord.

IMG_1293edit.jpgNow Interfaith week (12th-19th November) is now just around the corner, and it's another great opportunity to celebrate the incredible diversity of people in Lambeth.

We are really lucky in Lambeth because three brilliant events are being organised during the Interfaith week, offering people a chance to come together and learn from each other. All events are free and open to all but please do make sure you RSVP to secure your space:

  • "Question of Unity "quiz night Monday 13th November, 7pm at the Karibu Centre  (click here for details and to book your space)
  • " Engaging Faith Communities with British Democracy" event on Wednesday 15th November, 1pm at the Stockwell Green Muslim Centre; register for an invitation with Umar Mahmood.
  • "Trauma, Mental Health and Wellbeing"event on Sunday 19th November, 1pm at Eritrean Muslim Community Association (RSVP to Phillipe Cotgreave de Rahman)
